RIP Barbara B Tacy

My mother gave me the gift of the mountains and she gave me the gift of rock-climbing. My mother gave me the gift of curiosity and exploration.

But most of all my mother gave me the gift of will.

Thirty years ago the doctors told us that she wasn't going to live.
My mother said fuck that and she willed herself to survive.

My mother gave me the gift of thirty years of extra life to share.

I'll miss you mom.
My life will never be the same.
