As anyone who knows me can tell you - I'm obsessed with Talent, and I'm obsessed with people with insight/experience across a broad spectrum of interests and areas.

In many ways, I think the rarest (and most valuable) people are those who combine the above two with social skills, communication skills and a high degree of intelligence.

Periodically I meet such a person - and my response is almost always "I want to work with you."
In a few cases, I've managed to work things so that this has happened.
The other times, it's not happened (yet).

As those who fall in this category can tell you... the operative word above is "yet." I am relentless in this pursuit.
Perhaps the person I've most wanted to work with - but have so far failed to entice/entrap - is Gong Szeto.

I've talked to a lot of folks about Gong and tried to express why I think he's amazing (and why I want to work with him so badly).

Perhaps the best way to explain my obsession, however, is simply to read this post from his blog.
Not only does this post illustrate his Talent, his insight, his restless intellect and his ability to communicate and crystalize thought and idea... it expresses something I deeply believe in; but in a manner that I could never equal and with force and power and clarity that I cannot hope to match.

Folks... if you meet people like Gong... hire them/join them/work for them... whatever it takes.
